Bharat Bachat is a digital ledger and management application designed specifically for Self-Help Groups (Bachat Gat) to digitize their physical record books.

Important Notice: Bharat Bachat is strictly a record-keeping application. We do not facilitate, process, or handle real money transfers, banking transactions, or payment gateways.

2. Information We Collect

• Personal Information: When you register, we collect your Full Name, Mobile Number, and Role (e.g., Gat Pramukh or Member).
• Ledger & Financial Data: Group administrators (Gat Pramukhs) input data regarding group members — monthly savings amounts, meeting attendance, loan request amounts, approved loans, and penalty records.
• Device Data: We may collect non-personal information such as device type and operating system version to ensure app compatibility.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your user account and Bachat Gat groups.
• To maintain accurate digital records of your group's monthly savings, loans, and meeting minutes.
• To generate automated PDF reports summarizing group activities.
• To authenticate users and securely sync offline data to our centralized cloud database when internet connectivity is available.

4. Data Storage and Security

• Offline Storage: Data entered without an internet connection is stored locally on the group administrator's device using an embedded database (SQLite).
• Cloud Sync: When online, data is encrypted and transmitted securely via HTTPS to our centralized servers to ensure records are never lost.

5. User Rights and Data Deletion

Users have the right to access the records associated with their profile. If a user wishes to correct erroneous data or completely delete their account and associated data, they must contact their respective Gat Pramukh or contact our support team directly.

By downloading, accessing, or using the Bharat Bachat application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The App is owned and operated by SarvaShikshan LLP.

2. Nature of the Platform

Bharat Bachat is strictly a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) technology platform acting as a digital ledger/notebook for Self-Help Groups (Bachat Gats).

3. User Responsibilities & Data Accuracy

• Accuracy: The Gat Pramukh is solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all data entered into the App.
• Fraud Prevention: Entering false records, manipulating financial data, or misrepresenting loan details is strictly prohibited.

4. Limitation of Liability

SarvaShikshan LLP, its developers, and affiliates shall not be held liable for:

• Any financial disputes, defaults, or mismanagement of funds between group members.
• Any intentional or accidental data manipulation, falsification, or unauthorized deletion by the Gat Pramukh or any group member.

5. Service "As-Is" and Data Loss

We do not warrant that the App will be completely free of bugs. While we provide cloud synchronization, we are not a dedicated backup service. We are not liable for accidental data loss due to server crashes, device formatting, or network failures.

6. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
